Plan merchandise for your charity fundraiser
Choose a fundraising range, explain the contribution from each sale and plan artwork, promotion and fulfilment for your charity event or campaign.
Choose a clear purpose and audience
Decide whether the range supports an ongoing cause, a specific appeal or an event. Use a design supporters can connect with and wording that explains the purpose accurately. Consider who will buy and how you will reach them through your existing website, newsletter, community or event.
Keep the range manageable
Compare a small selection of products in the catalogue, such as a T-shirt, hoodie or tote, rather than launching every available item. Check sizes, colours, print suitability and current charges. For an event-specific design, consider whether supporters would still want to wear or use it after the date has passed.
Explain the contribution from each sale
Calculate the selling price less the BowYEAH Print & Fulfilment charge before describing what a purchase contributes. Delivery is separate and is not charity earnings. Refunds, adjustments and your own expenses may change the amount retained. Use an accurate contribution statement based on your agreed prices; do not describe the full customer payment as money going to the cause.
Agree artwork and responsibilities
Confirm permission to use the charity name, logo, photographs and any contributed artwork. Decide who will check the proofs, approve pricing and maintain seller details. With a managed store, your organisation promotes the range while BowYEAH handles online checkout, production, dispatch and order support.
Plan online orders and event stock separately
An online print-on-demand range is made after supporters order, so it does not automatically provide items for an event stall. If you need physical stock, confirm quantities, sizes, delivery address and the event date with BowYEAH before ordering. Allow for unsold stock and do not promise an arrival date without confirmation.
Match the campaign budget to payout timing
Seller earnings from paid orders are due at the end of the following month, subject to refunds and adjustments. For example, October orders are due at the end of November. Keep verified payout details current and avoid treating orders placed this month as funds already available to spend.
Make the store easy to find
Once approved and live, link directly to the shop from your campaign page, newsletter and social posts. For an event, test a QR code on a phone before printing it. Show the actual approved products and explain how orders are fulfilled. Review sales after the campaign before expanding the range.
